Ronald D. Jones Jr. of Sagamore Beach went home to be with the Lord on June 7th at the age of 51. He was the beloved husband of Pamela (Carlson) Jones and father of Jacob Benjamin Jones and stepfather of Allison Gaff and a granddaughter Aiva of Revere. He was the son of Doreen (Richards) Jones of Buzzards Bay and the late Ronald D. Jones Sr. He also leaves his sisters, Tina D. Jones and April Reed, and two nieces Sarah and Eryn, a stepbrother Clifford Mignault, his stepfather Larry Mignault all of Buzzards Bay. Born in Stoughton, Ronald graduated from Bristol Plymouth Regional Vocational Technical High School, where his focus was on drafting. As a young man he served 4 years as a military police officer in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a Superintendent for JK Scanlan in Falmouth, a commercial construction company. He was an avid fisherman, enjoying both salt and fresh-water fishing. Ron was also a talented musician who loved playing electric guitar. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 17 at 6:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church of Plymouth County, 190 Center St in Carver, MA. Arrangements made by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet. His ashes will be placed at the U.S. National Cemetery at Otis Air National Guard Base in Bourne.
