Walter L. Weseluk 74, of Sulyma St. died Saturday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of Adrienne (Boisvert) Weseluk. Born in Woonsocket he was the son of the late Walter and Anna (Sulyma) Weseluk. Mr. Weseluk worked for the Cumberland School Department in Maintenance for twenty six years before retiring in 1994. He also worked for the former Whitins Machine and Moore Fabrics for many years. He was past president of the former Ukrainian Citizens Club. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing baseball and quoits, he was also a history buff and loved to read.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son Walter P. Weseluk and his wife Brenda of Cumberland, a daughter Theresa A. Belanger and her husband Louis of Pawtucket, and four grandchildren, Sherrie- Lynne Belanger, Kimberly Whitney, Michael Weseluk and Rebecca Weseluk.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 394 Blackstone St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Blackstone. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in his memory would be appreciated.
