ROBERT L. “BOB” RICHARDSON, 78, passed away on June 9, 2011.
He was a former employee of Porter Paint and Guardsman Chemical, a member of the Senior Club at St. Paul Catholic Church, an avid U of K fan and a member of the U of K Alumni Association, and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Shirley (Pearson) Richardson; his children, Jeanne Hoffman (Bob), Lee Richardson (Tammy), and Patti Richardson Vanover; grandchildren, Bobby (Lindsey) and Nick (Kristen) Messina, Jaci Vanover, Rachel and Jacob Richardson; great grandchildren, Ariana, Jaela, Keeli, and one on the way; his brother, Alan Richardson; and sisters, Mary Louise Meadows and Linda Doss.
Funeral services will be10 a.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Calvary Cemetery,
Visitation will be from 1- 8 p.m. Sunday.
