Mrs. Jessica W. “Nannie” Armstrong
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest at her residence Monday, June 6, 2011, Mrs. Jessica W. Armstrong, 81, wife of the late Joseph Allen Armstrong, Sr.
Mrs. Armstrong was a native of Panama City, FL but lived throughout the country and world as the wife of Petty Officer Joseph A. Armstrong, U.S. Navy (Ret). She was a woman of many talents including business owner, dental hygienist, and homemaker. She loved her children, animals, and her neighbors.
Family members include sons: Joseph Allen Armstrong, Jr; Robin Craig Armstrong; grandson, Joseph Allen Armstrong III; and brother, Bud Welch.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2:00 P. M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Mike Klaus officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. until time for the service at the funeral home.
