Obituary

SALEM - Stacia J. (Konieczny) Williams, 92, of Salem, wife of the late Paul E. Williams, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, following a short illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Agnes (Paskowski) Konieczny, and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Prior to her retirement she was employed by GTE Sylvania for 20 years, working at the Boston Street, Salem plant and later at the Sylvan Street, Danvers plant, where she retired as a production supervisor.

She was a loving daughter and devoted mother. One of her greatest joys was cooking for her family and friends during the holidays.

Mrs Williams was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church, a member of the Salem Council on Aging and a former member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, Ladies Auxiliary, Chapter 55 in Salem.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul T. and Mary Ann Williams of Rowley, Thomas J Williams and Barbara Coutinho of Amesbury, one daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Stephen Maiocco of Topsfield, 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters, Stanley, Joseph, Frank, John and Louis Konieczny, Helen Nawrocki, Amelia Sinclair, Victoria Plante and Mary Lorenz.

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
