Adams, Margie E. (Tingle), 87, passed away June 4, 2011 at Episcopal Church Home. She was a member of Briargate Presbyterian Church, a KY Colonel, lifetime member of the Churchill Downs Ladies Aux #2921 and the National Home for Children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Adams.
Survivors include her children, Robert “Bob” Adams (Heidi) and Susan Key (Jim); loving companion, Marion Dicken; grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown (Corrie), Anthony Adams (Sharra), Emily Szakmary (Louis), Greg Key (Tina), James P. Key; Meghan Beach, and Korey Beach; and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Monday 2-8 at the funeral home.
