Hairstylist, of Tewksbury
TEWKSBURY: Krystal A. Raposo, age 27, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, following a lengthy and courageous battle with Leukemia.
Born in Lowell on May 17, 1984, she was the beloved daughter of Catherine M. Paton of Tewksbury and Steven Raposo and his wife Tina (Bibbo) Raposo of Wilmington.
Krystal attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 2002.
Following graduation, she was employed as a hairstylist by Fantastic Sams Salon in Tewksbury and later worked Snippets Hair Salon in Burlington.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her step-father, Kevin Paton of Westford; two sisters, Danielle Raposo of Wilmington and Erika Paton of Tewksbury;three brothers, Steven Raposo of Wilmington, Timothy Champagne and Richard Paton both of Tewksbury;Paternal Grandparents, Paul and Rose Raposo of Wilmington. She also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours Tuesday, June 7, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, June 8, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Drive, # 101, Natick, MA 01760.
