Francisco L. “ Frank “ Tabbi, of Canton, formerly of Dedham, passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was 77 years old and the beloved husband of Sherry ( Levine ) Tabbi to whom he was married to for 45 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Karen S. Feeney of East Peoria, Illinois and Linda M. ( Tabbi ) Dunn and her husband John of Quincy. He was also a father to the late Frank L. Tabbi. He was also the beloved brother of Tina Pegnato of Chelsea, Josephine Sargent and her husband Alfred “Al” of Stoughton, Phyllis Tabbi, also of Stoughton and Joseph Tabbi of New Hampshire. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren , 4 great -grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Born May 20, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts, Frank was a cherished son of the late Francisco and Carmella ( Pasquelina ) Tabbi. He attended Boston Public Schools and was a self – employed Real Estate Broker. Mr. Tabbi was a former member and communicant of the former Blessed Sacrament Church in Jamaica Plain.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday June 5, 2011 from 4- 5:45 P.M. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Followed by a funeral service at 6 P.M. also in the funeral home. All are welcome to attend. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donation to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 in Frank’s memory, would be appreciated.
