Obituary

Manchester– Henry “Hank” Kaffel, 85 died June 1, 2011 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on October 18, 1925 the son of Louis A. and Stefania (Zygmunt) Kaffel.
He had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Henry “Hank” was a member of the U.S. 250 combat engineering battalion as a technician specialist 3rd grade.
He then went on to receive his BS in Business Administration from Boston University.
His career was spent as a CPA for 46 years, the last 26 of which were as partner in the accounting
firm Bozek & Company.
Henry was a devout parishioner of Holy Trinity Cathedral all of his life.
In addition, Henry has been a cherished member of the Kaffel family and extended family. He devoted his life to caring for his brothers and sisters and their families and will be sorely missed by all.
Family members include one brother, Walter Kaffel of Manchester, two sisters, Blanche Zdon of Orange Park, FL., Wanda Kaffel of Minneapolis, MN., seven nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews.
In His Life: He was predeceased by three brothers, Mitchell, Edmund and Frank, and one sister, Stella Kaplarczyk.
Services: There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will take place on Monday at 3 PM in Holy Trinity Cemetery, 320 Goffstown Rd.
J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
