Obituary

Raymond A. Konisky Sr., a business owner, passed away Saturday at the Odd Fellows Home, Worcester, MA. He is survived by his beloved wife Anne P. (Gosk) Konisky of Auburn, MA; a son, Raymond A. Konisky Jr. of Sutton, MA, two daughters, Therese K Robinson of Reston, VA and Shirley A. Cormier of Auburn,: his three sisters, Marya A. Kosciusko of Auburn, MA, Margaret Beaudry of Stamford, CT and Dorothy Mole of Bradenton, FL. He also leaves seven grandchildren and seven great grand children, nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Viola (Kalasa) Konisky and his brothers Edward, Joseph and Anthony and two sisters, Jeanette Biernacki and Sister Helen of the Sisters of Nazareth.

Raymond was born in Millbury, MA, son of Alexandria (Trypus) and Anthony Kosciusko. He graduated from North High School in Worcester, MA. Raymond and his brother Anthony operated the former Greenwood Dairy in Milbury,MA, for over fifty years. Mr. Konisky was world traveler who enjoyed fishingand gardening. He lived in Cummaquid Heights (Cape Cod), MA. for over twenty-five years moving to Auburn, MA, in 1998. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church Auburn, MA, the St. Mary's Booster Club, Worcester and the Polish Club of Cape Cod and the Islands.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd from the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. with a Mass at 11 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, February 2nd from 5-8 PM.
