Kathryn A. Metz Jackson, 75, formerly of Centerville, IA passed away at 12:40pm Friday May 27, 2011 at Morton Terrace Care Center in Morton, IL.
She was born on May 8, 1936 the daughter of Wesley K. and Margaret Garbett Metz.
Surviving are her children Kaylinda (Gary) Tipsword of Washington, IL; Raymond E. (Janet) Jackson of Chillicothe, MO; and Pamela (Glenn) Howland of Lexington Park, MD. Six grandchildren as well as 3 great grandchildren further survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Margaret J. Benz, and two brothers Walter K. and Wesley R. Metz.
She was a Life Member of the Centerville Chapter 239 Order of the Eastern Star in IA. She was also a member of the Community of Christ Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded with a burial of her remains on Thursday June 2, 2011 at Haines Cemetery in rural Rathbun, IA. Memorials may be given in her name to a charity of the donor’s choice. Notes of condolences may be sent to www.masonfuneralhomes.com
