Obituary

Paul A. Amichetti age 55 of Easton passed away May 31st at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Boston, he was raised in Dedham and graduated from Dedham High School class of 1973 and attended the Henry O. Peabody Vocational School of Culinary Arts in Norwood, where he met his wife of 31 years, Jean. He worked as a Baker for several South Shore Business’ including P. J.’s Pastry Shop in Dedham, Zeppy’s, and Starr Market. He more recently worked as a dispatcher for New England State’s Currier Service in Canton. He was an avid bowler and competed in many bowling leagues and in 1986 he won the Massachusetts Candlepin Bowling Assn Men’s team event. He was also an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed giving Red Sox fans a hard time. He and his wife have lived in Easton since 1983. Beloved husband for 31 years of Jean (Oliva). Loving son of Anthony J. Sr. & Lena Amichetti of Bridgewater. Brother of Anthony J. Jr. & his wife Dee of Walpole & John A. Amichetti & his wife Marsha of Bridgewater. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 2-4 & 6-8. Funeral mass at Holy Cross Church 225 Purchase St. Easton Friday morning at 10.
