Henry Joseph Tomek, age 67 of Oak Grove, KY, died Monday, May 30, 2011 at Blanchfield Army Hospital.
He was born September 11, 1943 in Sharon, PA, son of the late Joseph Edward Tomek and Pearl E. Gilliland Tomek. He was a member of the American Legion Post 233 and a member of F.O.E. Aerie #4086, Wickliffe, OH.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at American Legion Post 233 (Across from Wal Mart), at 4 p.m., with Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Davis Tomek, Oak Grove, KY; two sons, Michael Tomek (Mary), Volant, PA and Marc Deist (Beverly), Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Allison Tomek, Westfield, NY and Rhonda Spelling, Northeast, PA; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203-2003.
