Germaine E. Keroack (Cote) of St. Augustine, FL died on May 28, 2011 in her residence after a period of failing health.
The daughter of Alphonse and Mathilde (Jacques) Cote, she was born in Goffs Falls on April 27, 1913
A graduate of the Business program from Manchester Central High School, she regarded her fondest working memories as being part of the JJ Moreau and Sons family. She retired as the executive secretary and office manager from Weston Associates Advertising Company.
She was a Manchester resident until 2006 when she moved to St. Augustine, FL.
She was married for 49 years to Raymond Keroack who died in 1997.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sisters: Annette Michel, Irene Bisson, Lillian Prince, Marie (June) Cote and a brother, Emile Cote.
Her beloved family includes a daughter, Judith and her husband Frederick Cole of St. Augustine FL.: two grandsons, Jason (Lauren) Cole of Ypsilanti, MI and Ryan Cole of Irmo, SC.; and great grandchildren Emily and Alex of Ypsilanti, MI and Abby and Noah of Irmo, SC; and several wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was an active member of the Business and Professional Women’s Association and the St. Anne’s Sodality of Sacred Heart Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice 4266 Sunbeam Road Jacksonville, Florida 32257 or to The American Cancer Society.
There will be no calling hours.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church South Main Street, Manchester NH. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
