Josephine (Pinto) Fallon, a longtime resident of Medford and wife of the late Joseph W. Fallon, died at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, on Thursday evening, May 26, 2011. She was 89 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 23, 2921, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Rose (Daniele) Pinto. Josephine was an avid reader of current events and always enjoyed watching television, especially “CSI”. She also enjoyed dining out at fine restaurants. Most of all, Josephine loved to spend time with her beloved daughters, granddaughter and siblings.
She will be sorely missed by her two loving daughters; Carol J. Fallon of Salem and Linda J. Maglio of Dover, NH, cherished granddaughter; Sandra J. Fallon, Siblings; Joseph Pinto of Medford, Rose Marie Pinto of Medford, Margaret Hennessey of Nashua, NH, James Pinto of Arlington, Virginia and Helen Marujo of Medford and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Salvatore Pinto, Paul Pinto, John Pinto and Catherine Amato.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at 12:30 PM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visitation was held in the funeral home, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, prior to the service, from 10 to 12:30. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
