Leroy F. Tischa, age 82, a life long resident of Baltimore passed away peacefully at his home on May 26, 2011. Leroy enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and camping. He was born on October 27, 1928 to the late Frank and Violet Tischa. He is survived by his loving and beloved wife of 47 years, Helen Tischa, 4 devoted sons, Donald Tischa of Austin, TX; Bernie Wiland and his wife Dawn of Parkville,MD; Joey Wiland and his wife Sharon of Parkville, MD; John Tischa and his wife Carla of Bel Air, MD and 1 daughter, Linda O'Connor and her husband Mike of Bel Air, MD. He is a beloved grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Leda Giblin; Joe Tischa and the late Eleanor Miles. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 31, from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., at which time all are invited to attend a Catholic Prayer service.
