Terry Warren, 55, of Milledgeville, Georgia died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, May 27, 2011, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald with the Rev. Clayton Dowd and the Rev. Matthew Rowell officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Terry was born January 6, 1956 in Ocilla to the late Lawson E. and Irma Lockerman Warren. He was a 1975 graduate of Irwin County High School where he played football for the Indians. Terry helped on the family farm while growing up and was a former employee of Shaw Industries and Academy Sports & Outdoors. Moving to Milledgeville in 1996 from Irwin County, he loved gardening, fishing and hunting and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife: Sandy Warren of Milledgeville; stepsons: Glenn “Bubba” (Bonnie) Kitchens and Eric Kitchens, both of Milledgeville; 4 grandchildren; brothers: Jackie Warren of Cordele, Herbert (Joey) Warren, J.B. Warren, and Larry Warren all of Irwinville; sisters: Johnnie Phillips and Myrtle Rowell both of Irwinville and Patricia (Gerald) Eason of Tifton; numerous nieces and nephews as well as his beloved pet: Baby Girl.
