Methuen, Ma – Mary (Charewicz) Jarosz, 96, died Tuesday May 24, 2011 at the Holy Family Hospital.
Born in Lawrence Mary was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She had been employed for many years as a receptionist with Sears, Roebuck and Company at the corner of Essex and Lawrence Street in Lawrence.
Mrs. Jarosz was devoted to her family, was truly in love with her beloved husband for 40 years before his passing in 1991. She adored her grandsons and was a proud new greatgrandmother.
Loved College Football, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and her pets.
Survivors include her daughter Marilyn E. and husband Stephen Bragg of Methuen, one sister Laura Dow of Hanover, NH, a brother James Charewicz and wife Bea of Methuen, grandchildren: Sam and his wife Andrea-Rancatti Bragg of Salem, NH, Eric Bragg of Methuen, great grandson Brady-Rancatti Bragg, sister-in-law Diane Jarosz and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her sister Wanda Lee, and her Brother Joseph Charewicz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday morning at 11 o’clock in Saint Lucy’s Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends will be warmly received on Friday morning from 9:00 – 10:45 A.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
