Lawrence John “Larry” Timney
Born December 10, 1958 Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lawrence and Mary Catherine Start Timney, survived by his brother, Robert Timney, sisters, Mollie Timney Hegarty and Patricia Timney , sister in law Jan Sundahl Timney, brother in law Sean Hegarty, 3 nieces and 3 nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. Larry earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Grove City College and worked as a load control agent for US Airways for 22 years. In 2001, Larry relocated to the Nashville TN area where he worked for a time at Fairway Supply Inc. as an inside sales representative.
Over the years, Larry enjoyed extensive traveling, spending time on Percy Priest Lake, and attending his nephews sporting events. He was passionate about his love for Pittsburgh’s various sports teams – most particularly the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Memorial services will be Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2:00pm. The family will recieve friends from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2PM.
