Obituary

Donna D. O'Keefe, 64, of Bedford peacefully entered the arms of God on May 19, 2011 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on March 18, 1947, she was the daughter of Donald and Irene (Downton) Darrah. She graduated from Manchester High School West and went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in English from Notre Dame College.
Most recently she owned and operated "My Trainer's Closet," an equestrian consignment clothing store in Bedford. Previously, she served as both a high school teacher of English and as an assistant principal at the former West Side Catholic.
Donna was most fond of spending time with her family, friends, dogs, and horses. She ran agility with her German Shepherd, Sasha, and with a Labrador Retriever, Dixon.
Family members include her devoted husband of 35 years, Michael O'Keefe of Bedford; one beloved daughter, Amanda Murchison and her husband Gerald of Bedford; her mother, Irene Darrah of Hooksett, and one brother, Joe Darrah of Hooksett.
The funeral service was held Monday, May 23, 2011 at Grace Episcopal Church, 106 Lowell St, Manchester.
