HAVERHILL – Annette Y. (Castonguay) Rajotte 87 of Haverhill and formerly of Lawrence died peacefully Wednesday May 18, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA she was the daughter of Joseph and Aurore (Turgeon) Castonguay. She continued her education and received three Associates Degrees from Northern Essex Community College. She worked as a streamstress, and nurses aide. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Augustine’s Chapel in Lawrence. She was active in the Guild for the Blind, Haverhill Senior Center and an Affiliate of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd.
Annette enjoyed exercising, traveling, riding horses, music and Scripture.
The widow of Emile J. Rajotte, she is survived by her children, Sr. Denise D. Rajotte, SND of Boston, MA, Renee A. Tracy and her husband Lawrence of Canaan, ME and Mark H. Rajotte and his wife Nancy E. of Bradford, MA.
Grandsons Mark E. and Michael C. Rajotte.
Three step-grandchildren, Lawrence Reising, Shanna and Chad Tracy.
ARRANGEMENTS: The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association 330 Congress Street 5th Floor Boston, MA 02210. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1;00p.m. - 5:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Augustine’s Chapel 128 Ames Street Lawrence, MA. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA.
