Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Elizabeth B. (Hanrahan) Rogers, 95, died Sunday, May 15, 2011 in the Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Gloucester. She was the wife of the late Benjamin T. Rogers.
Born in Gloucester on November 15, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Blatchford) Hanrahan. A lifelong resident of Gloucester, she was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1933.
Elizabeth was employed by the City of Gloucester and worked in the school cafeteria at West Parish School for twenty-five years.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Fiore of Beverly; a daughter-in-law, Nina Rogers of Essex; four grandchildren, Matthew Fiore of Austin, TX, Casey Fiore of Beverly and Catherine and Taylor Rogers both of Essex; a great-grandson, Trenton Fiore of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Benjamin T. Rogers, Jr., three sisters and a brother.
Her funeral services will be privately held in the Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the “Resident Activity Fund” of the Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 292 Washington St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
