Virginia D. Tapley, 83, of Londonderry, NH passed away on Wednesday May 18, 2011, in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry, NH. She was born in Lowell, MA on January 27, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Doris (Scharn) O'Loughlin and had been a resident of Londonderry for four years, formerly living in Westford, MA. Virginia grew up in Lowell, MA and had lived in Rhode Island while her husband, John, served in the Navy. They then moved to Westford. She worked as a quality control inspector for Applicon in Burlington, MA. Virginia enjoyed her computer and watching TV.
She is survived by two daughters; Faith MacLaren and her husband Bryan of Londonderry, NH, Lisa Lloyd and her husband Stephen of Pelham, NH, a son; Clark Tapley and his wife Maria of San Diego, CA, four grandchildren; Krystal Scadova, Cliff Lloyd, Erin MacLaren and John Lloyd, two great grandchildren; Mariah and Olivia, a sister; Linda Gosslin of Alabama and her dear friend and roommate; Elizabeth Noyes. She was predeceased by her husband John Tapley in 2004, a son; Wayne Tapley and a grandson; Ian MacLaren.
There will be no calling hours. Following cremation a private graveside service was held.
