Mrs. Candace L. O'Hara, of Wilmington passed away unexpectedly, May 18th, at the Winchester Hospital. She was 49. Candace was a Wilmington resident for over thirty years. She was the beloved wife of Adrzej Holowenczak and together they shared 5 years of marriage. Born in Gardner, ME on February 16, 1962 she was the cherished daughter of the late Clinton K. and Friederika (Kleiner) Gilpatrick.
Candace was employed by the Aetna Insurance Group in North Andover where she worked as an insurance verification specialist for the past ten years. She also worked for the Sleep HealthCenter of Danvers for 2 years. Mostly devoted to her loving family, Candace loved spending time with them and especially cherished time with her four-year-old daughter, Lia Mae. Candace loved animals and also enjoyed bowling in her leisure time. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Candace is survived by her beloved husband, Andrzej Holowenczak. She was the loving mother of Thomas C. O'Hara of Boston and Lia Mae Holowenczak of Wilmington.
A funeral service for Candace will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St. Wilmington, on Friday, May 20th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
