Dorothy (Saunders) Weeks, age 90, passed away on May 14, 2011. Dorothy is the wife of the late Wendell E. Weeks and is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharon M. Kent of Plymouth and Cheryl A. Harkins of Attleboro and her 6 grandchildren, Jennie M. Mudge, Stephen E. Mudge, Eric T. Kent, Brian Harkins, Stacey Harkins and Raymond Harkins. She also leaves 11 great grandchildren. Dorothy was born and lived in Weymouth for over 70 years before moving to Plymouth. She was a secretary for many companies for years retiring from Alvin Hollis Oil Company in Weymouth. Dorothy received an Associate Degree from Burdett College. She enjoyed bingo, knitting, crocheting, and family, gardening, drawing and playing Hawaiian guitar. Friends and relatives are invited to the Visiting Hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. The Funeral will be from the Funeral Home on Saturday May 21 at 9 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 261 Pleasant St. at 10 A.M.
