Conrad V. Taber, 84 of Westport died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center in Fall River. He was husband of Constance P. (Beliveau) Taber. Born in Westport, son of the late Elliot H. and Albertine L. (Sherman) Taber, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. A veteran of WWII, he served his country in the United States Navy. Mr. Taber was a self-employed stone wall builder.
Including his wife, survivors include a daughter: Sonya Curtis and her husband Leigh of VT; a step-daughter: Lori L. Medeiros of Fall River; 2 brothers: Donald N. Taber of VT and Elliot H. Taber, Jr. of Westport; a sister: Patricia C. DeAndrade of Assonet; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was father of the late Wayne Taber and brother of the late Evelyn L. Cornell.
Private arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
