NEW BEDFORD -- Abdon Perez Sr., 69, of New Bedford, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Elsie (Ramos) Perez.
Born in Puerto Rico, the son of Sima Padilla of Puerto Rico and the late Higinio Perez, he lived in this country for the past 43 years.
Survivors include his widow; his mother; a son, Abdon Perez Jr. of New Bedford; a daughter, Noemi Perez of Puerto Rico; a sister, Dolores Gonzalez of Puerto Rico; and several grandchildren.
His funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday Jan. 30, 2004 in the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St. New Bedford, Ma. Calling Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
