Sherilyn L. Ferguson, age 72 of Clarksville, TN, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her home.
She was born January 24, 1939 in Independence, IA, daughter of the late Fay Andrew Gissel and Alice Estella Polk Gissel. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey and Delwin Gissel, and a sister, Earlene Donnelly.
Sherilyn was retired from First Federal Savings Bank.
Survivors include a son, Roger Mealhow and a daughter, Julie Fish (Marty), both of Clarksville; two brothers, Wilfred Gissel, California and Vernon Gissel, Arkansas; three sisters, Wyvona Kurtz, California, Jean Payne, Iowa and Norene Gissel, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Brandi Temple and Daniel Fish; and two great-grandchildren, Jayslynne and Ayrealle Temple.
Memorial services will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at 5 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel.
