Michael F. Tomasetti 64, of Natick died Friday, May 6, 2011 at his home.
He was the beloved husband of Ginny M. (Welch) Tomasetti with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.
Born in Natick and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Anthony and Genevieve (Kadlik) Tomasetti.
Mr. Tomasetti worked for the Town of Natick Land Facilities and Natural Resources Department for 39 years, retiring in 2006.
He was a member of the Natick Elks and participated in the clubs’ golf league for many years.
Mr. Tomasetti enjoyed sports, reading, travel including many cruises, and especially summer vacations with family and friends at York and Wells Beach in Maine. He attended the Natick School system and graduated from Natick High School class of 1964. Mr. Tomasetti served for six years in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Michael A. Tomasetti of Ocala Fl, two daughters Lisa M. Arbogast and her husband Christopher of Grafton, Lori A. Tomasetti of South Grafton, one brother Skip Tomasetti and his wife Linda of Natick, three sisters Mary Lou Hewins and her husband Richard of Holliston, Sandi Tomasetti of FL, Joanne Tomasetti of Needham , sister in law Cynthia Tomasetti of Natick, and five grandchildren, Jenna and Meghan Arbogast , Ryan , Alyson, and Jason Tomasetti and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late James S. Tomasetti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday at 9:00 A.M from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church at 10 A.M.
Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery
Visiting hours are Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
