Obituary

Finneran, John H. "Jackie" of Hull, passed away May 5, 2011 at the age of 76.

Loving father of John Finneran and his wife Teresa of Weymouth, Diane Finneran, and Donna Finneran, both of Mt. Juliet, TN. Devoted grandfather of Crystal, Nicole, Shawn, Sara, and Jessica. Jackie is also surived by 3 great grand children. He was the brother of Janet Bennett of Hull, Henry “Buddy” Finneran of FL, Dorothy Smith of Hingham, June St. Croix of Hull, Joseph Finneran of Quincy, Robert Finneran of Hull, Michael Finneran of Hingham, and the late George Finneran. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jackie served in the United States Marine Corp for 25 years, retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant. After retirement, he worked as a juvenile probation officer for a number of years. He was a major sports fan and enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM.

Burial in Hull Village Cemetery.
