Barry Lee Inman, 57, of 2289 Whispering Pines Road, Brosville, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in
Greensboro, NC. Born in Martinsville on April 5, 1954, he was the son of Bobby Lee Inman and Nancy Minter Inman,
both surviving of the home. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He had worked as a carpenter and at DuPont.
He loved golf and tennis and riding his scooter. Barry had served his country in the US Navy, and worked in the Naval
Hospital at Great Lakes, Illinois.
In addition to his parents, Barry is survived his step-mother, Janice Inman, of Danville; two daughters, Stephanie Lynn Inman of
Rocky Mount and Jamie McCall Bernard and husband, Nick, of Danville; two sisters, Karen Renee Inman and Kimberly Faye Inman,
of Danville, and two brothers, Brian Keith Inman of Danville, and Randall David Inman of Axton. He is also survived by his grandmother,
Lady Simmons of Axton, one granddaughter, Elysium Bernard, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Barker Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. J. B. Baldridge
and the Rev. Shirley Massey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service
and at other times will be at the residence, 2289 Whispering Pines Road, Danville. The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers
