Alice L. (Meehan) Frye, 64, of Lakeville, went home to be with the Lord, May 2, 2011 following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Ralph A. Frye for 47 years. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Phyllis (Osborne) Meehan. Alice was a graduate of Fisher Jr. College and had been employed for several years by KAO Information Systems. She had been a resident of Marstons Mills for 25 years before relocating to Georgia, Westboro, and settling in Lakeville two years ago. Alice enjoyed gardening, knitting and Bingo, but her life was centered around her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons Ralph Frye, Jr. and his wife Christine of Marlboro, Michael and his wife Patty of Marlboro and Sean of Lakeville; three grandchildren Nicole Frye of ND, Allison and Katelyn Frye of Marlboro; two brothers Edward Meehan of Bourne, Robert Meehan and his wife Barbara of Sandwich; two sisters Phyllis Sargent and her husband Richard of Brockton and Debbie King and her husband Louie of KY; her mother in law Mildred Williams of North Easton, sister in law Sharon Smith of Taunton and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard Meehan.
