Obituary

Robert H. French, 45 of Chelsea and formerly of Andover died suddenly, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at his residence from complications of juvenile diabetes. Born in Methuen on May 4th, 1965 he was the son of Robert and Carol French of Andover. Bob grew up in Andover where he was a gifted athelete playing on the first travel soccer team and participated for many years in the Andover Church Basketball League as a player, referee, and coach. He was a high honors graduate of Andover High School. He then attended the College of Holy Cross in Worcester and received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1987. He worked for various financial companies as an account executive and was presently employed by Greenpark Mortgage in Dedham. Bob was passionate about politics and was a founding member of the Boston Tea Party. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed art, music, photography and bicycling.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Sharon and her husband Harpreet Grewal of Cambridge, brother Michael and his wife Mayumi of Osaka, Japan, brother Daniel of Emeryville, California and his former wife and good friend Erin O'Brien of Danvers and several nieces and a nephew.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 10:00AM at the Vineyard Church, 170 Rindge Avenue, Cambridge.
