WEBSTER - Joseph William Wintzel, 67, died Monday, May 2, at his home after a long illness. His wife, Ann-Marie (Holmberg) Keenan Wintzel, died in 2008.
He leaves 4 children, Tracey M. Keenan and her fiancé Albert Denham, and Bryan J. Keenan and his wife Wendy, all of Webster, Shawn W. Keenan and his wife Kibi of Auburn, and Tanya M. Wintzel, with whom he lived; 5 grandchildren, Cody and Alyssa Keenan, Brittney Bucciaglia, Savannah Clark and Dominick Fasulo; and a great granddaughter, Lilliana Keenan.
He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA the son of Joseph and Evelyn A. (O’Chery) Wintzel. He lived in Worcester for 20 years before moving to Webster in 2000.
Mr. Wintzel was a welder before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and model making.
A calling hour will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster. Burial will be private.
