Mathew Neil Kenney, 29, of Denver, CO formerly of Winchester, passed away suddenly on April 28th. Born in Concord, MA he was the loving son of Neil R. Kenney of Bedford and Harriet (Bates) Langley of Bryant Pond, ME. Mat was raised in Winchester and graduated from Winchester High School with the class of 2000. He then attended the University of Colorado, where he graduated in 2006 with degrees in Philosophy and Mathematics. After graduation he remained in CO. An outdoorsman, Mat enjoyed skiing, including ski-racing at Sunday River, mountain biking and boating. He was also known for his fun sense of humor and propensity for pulling pranks. In addition to his parents, Mat is survived by his sister, Kristen Kenney of Bedford and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend visiting hours in the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Thurs. May 5th from 3-7PM. Funeral services and interment are private.
