Obituary

Chris F. Kimball, 60, of Hooksett, NH died April 30th, 2011 after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Milford, CT, on November 12, 1950 and graduated from Masconomet Regional High in Topsfield, MA in 1968. He also graduated from East Coast Aero Tech, class of 1970 in Bedford, MA.
He had been employed by Eastern Propane Oil & Gas for 11 years as a serviceman from 1970 to 1981. He then founded and was co-owner of Rocky Mountain Propane in Cody, WY until 1988.
After moving to Billings, MT, he was the area manager for V/1 Propane for 6 years.
Chris returned to his roots to Eastern Propane in Danvers, MA and Loudon, NH as service manager in each location until 2010.
He loved working with his son Jeffrey on anything mechanical including boats and cars, especially Corvettes.
They are best friends and always looking for something to buy and fix-up. Alana (Jeff’s wife) is the best match for Jeff as she also shares his love of cars, boats, and Dad (Bucko).
Chris loves gutsy “Goon” (Lisa) if no one else in the family would know it, she would. He was forever looking out for her. He taught her what a man could and should be in her life. He was very proud of his children and they were the Loves of his life and source of his greatest pride.
He bought Caia her first motorized vehicle (4 wheeler) and was always looking for the next thing he could get her to drive (with a smile of course). He loved “the little girl.”
Chris spent his retirement between Hooksett, NH, Lake Shore Park in Gilford, NH (Lake Winnipesauke) and Cornelius, NC (Lake Norman).
Family members include his wife of 35 years Sherri (Guilmain) Kimball of Hooksett; one son, Jeffrey Kimball and his wife Alana of Concord, NH; one daughter, Lisa Kimball of Cornelius, NC; one granddaughter, Caia Kimball of Concord, NH.
The funeral service was held Thursday, May 5, 2011 in the Lambert Funeral Home chapel.
Donations may be made in his memory to Lake Shore Park, c/o Marina Committee, 2600 Lake Shore Road, Gilford, NH 03249 or to Massachusetts General Hospital, Frontotemporal Dementia Unit, 15 Parkman Street, Wang Building, Suite 715, Boston, MA 02114.
