Bernice G.”Bea” Nauman age 89 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 7:35pm Thursday April 28, 2011 at Snyder Village in Metamora. She was born August 29, 1921 in Momence, IL to Albert and Angela (Gulchinski) Kanosky. She married Willam M. Nauman on May 17, 1948 in Gilman, IL. He passed away May 25, 1986.
Surviving are her children Angela (Larry) Gruette of Naperville, IL and William Nauman Jr. of Metamora. Grandchildren; Sara Nauman, Michael Gruette, Samantha Gruette, and Quinton Nauman. Two sisters Stella McDermott of Detroit MI, and Margaret Thorn of Onarga, IL. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.
Bea was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and loved being outside working in her yard.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11:30am Tuesday May 3, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Metamora, with Father Don Roszkowski officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4pm until 7pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with recitation of the rosary at 4pm. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Metamora.
