In Lakeville, of Lakeville April 26, 2011 Theresa M. (Garon) Flannery wife of the late John T. Flannery died suddenly at her home in Lakeville at the age of 81. Born in Taunton, Theresa was the daughter of the late Jules and Theresa (Coughlin) Garon. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School class of 1947. Theresa worked for the Department of Public Works for the state of Massachusetts for over 25 years as an Administrative Assistant. After retirement Theresa volunteered for Morton Hospital in Taunton from 1992-2011 volunteering over eighty five hundred hours and receiving the volunteer of the year award in 2006. She was the mother of Dianne Padula and her husband Joseph of Cranston, RI and Debbie Hayes and her husband Richard of Raynham. Grandmother of Andrea Creach of Cranston, RI, Jennifer Hayes of CT, Kelly Hayes of Taunton, Jackie Woolfolk of Cranston, RI, Michael Padula and Amanda Padula of RI. Great Grandmother of Five. Sister of Phyllis Mederios of East Falmouth. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Saturday, April 30th at 10 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 11 AM. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-8 PM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
