Frank Furtado, Jr., 57, of Dartmouth died April 26, 2011 at Lahey Clinic after a long illness. He was the husband of Susan L. (Golda) Furtado.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Alice (Lima) Furtado of Attleboro and the late Frank Furtado, he lived in Dartmouth most of his life.
He was the proprietor of Ideal Motors and Ideal Limo for many years.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; a son, Douglas Furtado of New Bedford; two brothers, Robert Duarte of Attleboro and Paul Furtado of Dartmouth; a sister, Rose Furtado of New Bedford; a grandson, Brayden; two nephews and several Godchildren.
His visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 4th from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
