Mary G. Merritt, 93, Of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, January 25, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, January 27, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Waldorf and Rev. Don Woeltjen officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday.
Miss Merritt was born September 26, 1910, in Webster County, Georgia, to the late Richard Fulton Merritt and Mattie E. Wilson Merritt. She was a retired Kindergarten School Teacher. A former choir member and Sunday School teacher, she was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fitzgerald.
Miss Merritt is survived by one sister Hurley Merritt of Fitzgerald, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
