Ethel M. (MacNeill) MacLeod age 79 of Hampstead, NH, died Saturday at the Penacook Place Nursing Home, Haverhill, MA.
She was born in East Boston, MA, grew up and attended schools in Malden, MA, and graduated from Malden High School. She later graduated from Melrose Wakefield Hospital School of Nursing. She was a resident of Hampstead, NH for the past 52 years, formerly of Lynn, MA.
Mrs. MacLeod was a Registered Nurse for over 32 years at the Hale Hospital in Haverhill, MA. She also worked per diem for various nursing services in Salem, NH and the surrounding communities. She was a member of the Hampstead Congregational Church in Hampstead, NH. She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 8546 in Salem, NH. She was also a member of the ladies Auxiliary of the MOC Cooties in Salem, NH.
IN HER LIFE: She enjoyed her winters in Florida and her summers at Lake Ossipee. She used to clown with her husband and spent many hours playing bingo with the patients at the Tilton Soldiers Home. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was always smiling and her beautiful blue eyes would always sparkle. She loved Life.
She is survived by her Husband John H. MacLeod of Hampstead, NH

14 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at the Hampstead Congregational Church, Hampstead, NH. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
