Royal W. Auger 85, of Old Louisquisset Pike, died Tuesday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Lillian (Lachance) Auger. Mr. Auger was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Emile and Emma (Larue) Auger. He was a machinist for Automatic Screw Machine in Attleboro for thirty years before retiring in 1990.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter -in -law Linda Auger of Albion, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Lucien Auger, a brother Richard Auger, and three sisters, Violet Corley, Jeannette Marcil and Dorothy Trudeau.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier &Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Monday 4-6 PM.
