Elizabeth M. (Stewart) Kubli, 93, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, formerly of Franklin died April 20 in the Oakland Grove Health Care Center in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Russell E. Kubli who died in 1984.
Born in Milford, February 8, 1918, the daughter of the late Clarence and Arline (Rose) Stewart, Mrs. Kubli was raised and lived in Franklin until moving to Woonsocket in 2000.
A homemaker, Mrs. Kubli had been active in many groups at the Franklin Federated Church. She had babysat for many families in Franklin.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and in her earlier years camping.
She is survived by her daughter Selina Rattie of Woonsocket, and her sons Victor Kubli of Owasso, Oklahoma and Bert Kubli of Washington, D.C.
She was the mother of the late Evan Kubli.
She was the sister of the late Dick Stewart.
She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday April 25 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main St. Franklin at Noon.
Burial will be private.
Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00-Noon.
