James Edward Albright, age 88 of Clarksville, TN, died Monday, April 18, 2011 at Fieldstone Place.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Brother Steve Kirby officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m., and Thursday from noon until the hour of the service. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be James Albright III, Thomas Rasinen, Robert Albright, William Rasinen, Nathaniel Stowe, Tom Allen, Mark Pace, Terry Pace and Rick Saulsbury.
Mr. Albright was retired from the US Army and served during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. He was born May 18, 1922 in Robertson County, TN, son of the late Ira Macon Albright and Mattie Ogg Albright.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Margot Kalb Albright; two sons, James E. Albright (Carol), Louisville, KY and Herman Albright (Donna), Clarksville; daughter, Sue Albright, Clarksville; sister, Mary Sue Pace; six grandchildren, James Albright III (Heather), Wendy Allen (Tom), Heather Stowe (Nathaniel), Robert Albright (Kelly) Thomas Rasinen and William Rasinen; and six great-grandchildren.
