AMY (SPAULDING) WHITE, 80, of Hingham, died on Thursday, March 24th, 2011 at the Southwood Nursing Center in Norwell. Mrs. White was born in Hingham where she spent most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Archibald and Mabel (Agnew) Spaulding. She attended Thayer Academy in Braintree and graduated from Simmons College. Mrs. White was a lover of art, gardening, animals and was a member of the South Shore Spinning Guild.
Wife of the late William Horne White, she leaves her two sons; William of Southampton, NY and Aspen, Co. and Stephen of Hanover. Also survived by her sister, Marion Ffield of Orchard Park, NY.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 26th at 11 AM at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 172 Main St., Hingham.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Trustees of Reservations, 227 East St., Hingham, MA 02043.
The interment is private.
