Thelma R. (Roberts) Knight, 99, of Mattapoisett died April 17, 2011 at Sippican Health Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Lewis R. Knight.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Charles F. and Lottie C. (Lake) Roberts, she lived in Mattapoisett for most of her life.
She was a charter member of the Mattapoisett Womens Club and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Marion.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda L. Jester of Sun City Center, FL and Mattapoisett; 3 sons, Gardner R. Knight and his wife Carol of Milton, DE, Ronald L. Knight and his wife Allison of Littleton, NH and Peter F. Knight and his wife Diane of Mattapoisett; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Edna Roberts, Marion Willwerth and Everett Roberts.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd., Mattapoisett. Burial will follow in Pine Island Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday, April 21st from 4-7 PM.
