Worcester – Mark W. Foster, 48, of Worcester died on Friday, April 15th in his home after an illness.
Mark is survived by his two daughters Erin Cruz and her husband Alex and Melissa Foster; his mother Mary Ellen (McKnight) Foster all of Worcester; three brothers Ernest C. Foster III, John M. Foster and his wife Lisa all of Worcester and Stephen K. Foster of Tilton, NH; two sisters Denise M. Legere and her husband Mark of Worcester and Theresa M. Dufault and her husband Wayne of Cherry Valley; four grandchildren William Foster, Janaya Foster, Deztany Cruz and Jhavien Moore and several nephews and nieces.
Mr. Foster was born in Worcester son of late Ernest C. Foster Jr. and is predeceased by a sister Katherine Montejunas. Mark enjoyed cooking and sports, especially the Boston Red Sox and the Dallas Cowboys. He was most happy when he was spending time with his family, friends and most of all his grandchildren.
Mark worked as a roofer and a painter for many years and also a line chef at local restaurants.
A funeral will be held on Monday, April 18th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home with a Mass at 11 AM in Saint Christopher’s Church 950 West Boylston Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will from 8:30 to 10 AM before the funeral in the funeral home.
