Walter Henry Underhill, of Andover, passed away on April 13, 2011, at the age of 58. Walter was born in Boston and grew up in West Roxbury, MA. Son of the late Walter H. Underhill, Sr., the late Helen (Darcy) Underhill, and the late Mary Louise Underhill (stepmother). He attended Boston State College and completed his Law degree at the New England School of Law, class of 1980. He was a prominent trial lawyer in Boston for 30 years and practiced in the State and Federal courts. He fought passionately in and out of the courtroom for each and every client. Walter was a true entertainer. His friends and family will always remember his spirited character and vibrant storytelling. He enjoyed the outdoors, including horseback riding, bicycling, skiing, and scuba diving, and always had an incredible tale to share. Walter was the beloved husband of Paula (Farrell) Underhill and dedicated, proud father to Lindsay and Lauren Underhill. He was a loyal friend to many and will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service was held at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 198 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover, MA on Saturday, April 16, at 10 AM followed by a gathering at the Underhill home, 33 Avery lane, Andover, MA.
