WORCESTER-Hoang V. Nguyen, 71, of Worcester, died Sunday, April 10th in UMass Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife, Duc Nguyen; four sons, Son, Hai, and Thien Nguyen of Worcester and Phuoc Nguyen of Vietnam; five daughters, Loan Nguyen of Vietnam, Huong Nguyen of Worcester, Phuong Nguyen of Australia, Dien Nguyen of Vietnem and Thuy Nguyen of Seattle, WA; a sister, Dao Nguyen of Vietnam; several grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Binh Nguyen and a sister, Xu Nguyen.
Mr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam, the son of Thu and Lang Nguyen. He was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church.
The funeral is Saturday, April 16th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling Street. Cremation will follow at All Faiths Crematory. Calling hours are Thursday, April 14th from 3:00 until 6:00 PM and Friday, April 15th from 3:00 until 7:00 PM.
