Faye S. Johnson, age 63, of Nicholls, GA passed away on April 11, 2011 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Johnson was born on February 10, 1948 in Bartow, Florida to the late Roy Lee and Violet Viola Grooms Durrance. She was preceded in death by a son: Stacey Touchstone; brothers: Roy Lee Durrance and Fred Cecil Durrance and sisters: Annie Wechter and Rose Durrance. She worked at Spectrum Distributors, a wholesale clothing business. Survivors include: daughter: Tonya (Lonny) Krontz, Dixie, GA; son: Torrey Griffin, Douglas, GA; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters: Nellie Lee, St. Petersburg, FL; Sallie Figg; Knightstown, IN; Bessie V. Reed; Lake City, FL; Nancy Mooney, Lake Wales, FL; Edith Anderson, St. Augustine, FL and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
